In the Bible, Ecclesiastes 3:1 says:

“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.”

(And, yes, there was a famous song by The Byrds in 1965 based on the subject.)

I bring this up today because the time has come in my life to change things up. I will continue to speak from time to time, but that will no longer be my focus going forward (unless I feel that God wants me to).

I have begun the long process of becoming a financial advisor. For decades I have known that I was made to teach. The only question I have had the last few years has been in what arena.

Recently there have been multiple people and events that have pointed me in this direction. I feel confident that I will either succeed in this new arena – or that God will indicate to me that He wants me to teach in a different one.

Why do I say all this? Because this will be the last blogpost that I am planning to create for a bit, as I focus my efforts on studying for various tests that I will need to pass to become certified in financial matters. Going forward, I plan on reaching back out to you occasionally, but most likely concerning financial matters. (Somehow I believe that I will still tie in some teaching about Faith, Character, Relationships, Career and Health inside these posts, however.)

For now, I will say Thank You to all of you who have read my posts, liked them (or not), and shared some. I hope that the words that I have shared with you in the past have blessed your lives in some way.

And, who knows? Maybe one day in the future God will put some new words on my heart to share with you that may bless you, too.

May God continue to bless each of you and your families.

I believe in you…and God does, too!
